Your money doesn’t move until you have the item.
You pay into escrow instead of paying a stranger. The seller ships. You check the item. Only then does the money move. TheTrueVault helps buyers and sellers agree on the deal, verify important details, record delivery, and complete payment after the agreed conditions are met.

ProtectedAn estimate. The exact amounts are confirmed before anyone pays.
Buyers pay with the wallets they already use
Four steps, and both sides know where they stand
Every trade follows the same path, whether it is GHS 50 or GHS 50,000.
- 01
Agree on the deal
The seller creates a Deal Link with the item, the amount and the inspection period, then sends it over WhatsApp like any other message.
- Buyer
- You see the terms before you pay anything.
- Seller
- Creating and sharing a link is free.
- 02
The buyer pays
The buyer reviews the terms and pays by mobile money. TheTrueVault holds that payment against the trade.
- Buyer
- Your payment is tied to this trade, not handed to the seller.
- Seller
- You can see the money is really there before you ship.
- 03
The seller delivers
The seller marks the item dispatched and attaches proof. For a face-to-face handoff, the buyer reads out a 6-digit code instead.
- Buyer
- No code, no completion. Nothing moves without you.
- Seller
- Delivery is on the record, so “I never got it” is answerable.
- 04
The buyer confirms
The buyer inspects and accepts, and the payment completes to the seller. If something is wrong, they open a dispute instead.
- Buyer
- Seventy-two hours to check the item by default.
- Seller
- Once it is accepted, the payout is on its way.
This is what the buyer sees
Not a diagram of how escrow works. The screens themselves. The handoff code below is generated by our servers and checked by our servers, so a seller cannot mark a trade delivered by guessing it.
Every defence we run, listed

From GHS 1 to GHS 1,000,000
If money and goods change hands between two people who do not yet trust each other, this is what it is for.
Electronics
Phones, laptops and cameras. The category buyers get burned on most, and the one where "it was working when I sent it" is hardest to argue.
Phones · Laptops · Cameras
Vehicles and parts
Used cars, motorbikes, spare parts. Big enough that nobody wants to send first, and the inspection period is doing real work.

Freelance work
Design, development, writing, video. The client’s payment is confirmed before the work starts, so neither side is working on a promise.

One service fee, and you choose who pays it
Shown in full before anyone confirms a payment. Nothing is deducted that was not on the screen.
- TheTrueVault service fee
- 1% of the transaction, minimum GHS 5, capped at GHS 50. Paid by the buyer, the seller, or split — whoever creates the transaction decides.
- Payment processing fee
- Charged by the payment provider for collecting the buyer’s money. Shown as its own line before the buyer confirms.
- Payout processing fee
- Charged when the seller’s payout is sent to their mobile money or bank account. Shown on the seller’s side of the summary.
- Creating an account, creating a Deal Link, raising a dispute
- Free. There is no subscription and no monthly charge.
The figures in the estimator above come from the same pricing service that runs at checkout, so what you see here is what is charged.
Sell from WhatsApp without asking for trust
Make a link, send it to your buyer. They see the item, the amount, the inspection window and exactly which checks you have passed, all before they pay. You never have to talk anyone into it.
- Ghana Card identity
- Sellers verify against their Ghana Card before they can receive a payout.
- Payout account name matched
- The name on the payout account is checked against the verified identity.
- Trade record
- Completed trades and dispute history are shown on the link itself.

Your next deal does not have to be a leap of faith
Setting up your first trade takes a couple of minutes. Starting is free, and a fee only applies to a deal that actually goes ahead.
TheTrueVault holds payments against the state of a transaction. It is not a bank, and it does not take deposits or pay interest.
